Candidates who submit an application are reviewed and scheduled for interviews. Candidates who successfully pass a interview are given pre-employment background checks, reference checks, drivers’ record check, drug screening, and required to provide fingerprints for State and Federal background checks.
Successful candidates who pass these requirements receive a basic security presentation that explains:
Candidates are then tested and evaluated on their overall knowledge, skills, abilities, education, personal characteristics, integrity, and references. Successful candidates are then given a conditional employment offer and will begin our training program. Candidates who demonstrate their ability to grasp the concepts and perform the duties to Merchant Patrols high standards will become a member of the Merchant Patrol team
